This news is making me skeptical, because we heard and read in the past about Xbox One and PS4 being almost identical on performance. And the same exact game in PlayStation 4 runs on 1080p and on 720p on Xbox One, which is significant difference in resolution. Now I’m thinking that they’re not so identical. So… What’s going on? According to Mark Rubin, the reason is that Xbox One can’t run the Call of Duty: Ghosts at 60fps and the game company wants both consoles to hit that 60 frames per second sweet spot. Here is the statement from Rubin at TwitLonger: Now the big question is if this is a development issue that for some reason the game cannot hit the 60fps or if Xbox One has some hardware limitations that causes it not being capable of putting up with the game. Furthermore, recently has also been confirmed that Battlefield 4 will also run at 720p on Xbox One and at 900p on the PS4. There is no much difference in resolution here, but yet we have there another good game with better resolution in the competition’s console. Something isn’t right in this picture, what do you think?
