In total, Asus has introduced six new laptops, including the ZenBook Flip 14, ZenBook Flip 15, ZenBook 13, VivoBook Flip 14, VivoBook S14, and the brand-new Republic of Gamers (ROG) Chimera gaming laptop. Here’s a closer look at these new devices from Asus.

ZenBook Flip 14, ZenBook Flip 15, ZenBook 13

The ZenBook Flip 14 (UX461) laptop is only 13.9mm thin and weighs less than 3.1 pounds. It features Intel eighth-generation Core i7 processor with 16GB of memory, and discrete Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics. On top of all that horsepower, it also sports a fast 512GB PCIe x4 SSD and Harman Kardon audio system. Alongside with its 360-degree hinge, the 14-inch laptop has a NanoEdge Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, which simply means very thin bezels around the display. Asus claims 13-hours of battery life with a single charge. It comes equipped with fingerprint reader with support for Windows Hello, and it’ll be available in Icicle Gold and Slate Grey. The ZenBook Flip 15 (UX561) is also a convertible laptop with a hinge that flips 360-degrees, but it’s a 15-inch laptop with more capable hardware. In this laptop, you’ll find Intel eighth-generation Core i7 processor with up 16GB of super-fast DDR4 memory, and discrete Nvidia GTX1050 graphics. As for storage, you can get this Windows 10 device with up to 2TB hard drive and 512GB SSD, USB Type-C port with support for Thunderbolt 3, and quad-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The ZenBook Flip 15 comes with a 4K resolution display featuring Asus NanoEdge design, but you can also get it with a Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) screen with 178-degree viewing technology. The laptop will come in Smoky Grey and Pure Silver. Then there is also the ZenBook 13 (UX331), which is a 13-inch laptop with a thin design at only 13.9mm thick and weighing less than 2.7 pounds. Just like the other convertibles, it comes with Intel eighth-generation Core i7 processor with 16GB of memory, and 1TB SSD for internal storage.

VivoBook Flip 14 and VivoBook S14

The VivoBook Flip 14 (TP401) is a 14-inch laptop weighing 3.3 pounds and only 15.4mm thin. It features a 14-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) screen on a 13-inch frame thanks to its NanoEdge design. Unlike the ZenBooks, Asus will be making available the VivoBook with Intel seventh-generation Core i7 processor, but with a fanless design to keep noise levels almost to none. Asus is also including pen support to get your writing done with Windows Ink. The VivoBook S14 (S410) is still a very thin device, but at 18.8mm thick is thicker than other laptops and weighs only 2.86 pounds. Although the screen doesn’t flip, it’s a great design for anyone constantly on the go who needs a more traditional laptop. The VivoBook S14 sports Intel eighth-generation Core i7-8550U processor with up to 16GB of memory and Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics, and it’ll be available in Icicle Gold and Star Grey finish.

ROG Chimera gaming laptop

The ROG Chimera is a laptop that Asus is targeting for gamers as it includes an ultra-responsive 144Hz wide-view display with a 7ms response time. The gaming laptop sports an Intel seventh-generation Core i7-7820HK processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics. Asus is also announcing the ROG Strix XG35VQ, which is a is a 35-inch UWQHD (3440×1440 pixels) curved monitor with a 100Hz refresh rate, Adaptive-Sync technology and a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Asus Windows Mixed Reality headset

Alongside the new devices, Asus is also introducing the Asus Windows Mixed Reality headset to bring virtual reality to its products and compatible devices. The headset features a modern design with 3D polygons, weighs only 400 grams, and more importantly it features a balanced-crown to make the experience more comfortable when wearing it for an extended period of time. Asus headset doesn’t require extra sensors or extra software, and it features inside-out tracking with two built-in front-facing tracking cameras with six-degree-of-freedom (6DoF) position tracking.
