The ASUS Transformer AiO (P1801) is a hybrid tablet and all-in-one PC packed with some serious power under the hood. When it is in the Windows 8 mode, the PC can house a choice of a Core i3, i5, or i7 Intel processor with a maximum capacity of 8GB of RAM, up to 2TB of storage, a TV tuner, a beautiful 18.4-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) touch-enabled display. And it also features a dedicated 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 730M. Undocking the 5.2-pound gigantic display the user will be switched to a totally different computer powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), which runs on a Tegra 3 CPU with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage capacity. According to ASUS, the Transformer AiO can run up to 5 hours when in tablet mode using Google’s operating system. The computer manufacturer is aiming to release this hybrid PC starting in the U.S. this spring and with a price tag of $1,299. This is, of course, for the base model (Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage). However, the specs for the Android tablet will remain the same.
