The new PC line from Asus includes the new ZenBook 3 laptop, Transformer 3 Pro Surface-like tablet, Transformer 3 iPad-like tablet, and the Transformer Mini detachable PC.

Asus ZenBook 3

The Asus new PC line kick off with the new ZenBook 3. The device is powered by Intel’s 6th generation processor up to a Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of PCIe SSD. There is also a built-in fingerprint reader to sign-in to Windows 10 using Windows Hello. The new Asus laptop is light — only weighing 2 pounds –, .47-inch thick, and it feature very narrow bezel, which is 18 percent thinner than Apple’s MacBook. Asus claims up to 9 hours of battery life for a full day computing experience, and it recharges up to 60 percent in only 49 minutes.

The new laptop is a premium device available in three colors, including Royal Blue, Rose Gold, and Quartz Grey.

Asus ZenBook 3 will be available in the third quarter of 2016 starting at $999.

Asus Transformer 3 Pro

If you’re looking for a premium tablet that can replace your laptop, then you’re looking for the new Transformer 3 Pro. The new 2-in-1 is powered by Intel’s 6th generation processor up to a Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory, 1TB of PCIe SSD, and Thurderbolt 3. The device comes with Windows Hello ready with an IR camera. The Transformer 3 Pro weighs only 1.76 pounds, and it’s .32-inch thin.

Unlike the Surface Pro 4, the Asus 2-in-in device comes with the detachable keyboard and the Active Pen that will enable users to take advantage of Windows Ink with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

The Asus Transformer 3 Pro will also be available in the third quarter of 2016 starting at $999.

Asus Transformer 3

The Transformer 3 is a step down from the Transformer 3 Pro, but that’s only because the device aims to be a content consumption and a mobility device. The Transformer 3 looks very similar to the iPad with an aluminum body, compact design, and diamond-cut edges and spun-metal finish. The tablet is powered by Intel’s 7th Generation Core processor. It only weighs 1.54 pounds, and it’s extremely thin — only .27-inch –. The device also comes with a built-in fingerprint reader for biometric authentication using Windows Hello. Unlike the Transformer 3 Pro, the Transformer 3 doesn’t come with a keyboard or Active Pen, but they are optional accessories. The Asus Transformer Sleeve is a backlit keyboard that offers 2-position kickstand, and features a glass-covered precision touchpad.

The Asus Transformer 3 comes in two colors, including Icicle Gold and Glacier Gray colors. And the detachable keyboard comes in Stone, Charcoal, Taupe, and Amber colors.

The Transformer 3 (T305CA) will be available in the third quarter of 2016 starting at $799.

Asus Transformer Mini

The computer manufacturer is also introducing the Transformer Mini, which is a 10.1-inch 2-in-1 tablet with a kickstand design very similar to the Microsoft Surface design. The device includes an aluminum chassis, sports USB Type-C ports, and it’s also comes with a built-in fingerprint reader for Windows Hello authentication. The tablet comes in gray and white color options, and the detachable keyboard comes included.

The Transformer Mini will be available in the third quarter of 2016, but pricing is yet to be announced. The devices will be available through Asus.com and other retailer.
