It’s an unusual design, but using this new approach, Asus can hide the upward notch behind the keyboard, which should be better than removing the webcam or placing it underneath the display or on the keyboard, as we have seen on other devices from Dell and Huawei. As for technical specs, the ZenBook S13 is a 13.9-inch laptop using a 1080p display that fits into a 13-inch body. Inside, you’ll find up to an Intel eighth-generation Core i7-8565U processor with up 16GB of memory, and up to 1TB of PCIe Solid-State Drive storage. In addition, the device includes a discrete Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card that should be good enough to play most games, including AAA titles. The Asus ZenBook S13 also packs two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port, and microSD card reader. It even features a fingerprint reader with support for Windows Hello tucked into the touchpad. Asus has yet to reveal pricing, and it’s expected to be available sometime in the first quarter of 2019.
