This new release from the second most used web browser software is now more secure and significantly more faster than before, and it is available now. In the official Google Chrome blog, the company detailed that Google Chrome version 17.0.963.26 beta-m loads web pages a lot faster by doing so in the background, even before you finish typing a destination URL in the address bar (A.K.A omnibox). Google also improved Chrome’s Safe Browsing technology to better protect the user if they ever come across malicious websites and their no-trusted downloads. Software Engineer and Speed Demon Dominic Hamon said: “To help protect you against malicious downloads, Chrome now includes expanded functionality to analyze executable files (such as “.exe” and “.msi” files) that you download.” Chrome will warn the user that they should opt-out the download. More over the search giant is also announcing that Google Chrome is about to get more intelligent in the coming months and it will be able to detect more harmful files. Google Chrome 17 Beta feels more speedy. The download and installation went without any issues in the lab test and also feels pretty stable at this time.
