There is going to be 2 different Windows 8 ISO images that you can download, the first one will be Windows 8 Developer Preview alongside tools, samples, guides, documentation and other type of resources to start building applications on Windows. And the second image is just a clean Windows 8 with none of the additional resources. It is important to note that these copies of Windows 8 are not intended to replace any version of Windows that you may be running right now, as there still a lot work to be done, but you can still download Windows 8 and play with it.
