To use the new social feature, you’ll need at least Firefox 17, then visit the Facebook Messenger for Firefox web page and click the Turn On button. Disabling feature

While in Firefox, click Facebook icon in the top-right corner of the browser, click Remove from Firefox and confirm by clicking Remove Facebook Messenger.
