Pixel and Pixel XL

It’s not a secret anymore, there has been many leaks throughout the months, but there are still chances of a few surprises. There will be two phones, including the Pixel and Pixel XL, which will replace the old Nexus program, and they will simply carry the Google branding. The Google Pixel features a 5-inch display, while the Pixel XL sports a 5.5-inch display. Both handsets will be sporting similar hardware, including Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of memory. A quad HD display will be found in the Pixel XL and a 1080p screen on the Pixel. Both phones will include 12-megapixel cameras, long lasting batteries, and fingerprint scanners. HTC is the hardware manufacturer, but the phone will carry Google brand, and they will sport a premium design similar to Apple’s iPhone. Pricing is rumored to start at $649, and of course, they will be running Android 7.1 Nougat, which is the latest version of the most popular operating system, but with some extra features.

Google Wi-Fi

While Google already sells a router, the company appears to be also gearing up to announce a new multipoint router system to compete with Eero and routers with similar features. The device will carry the Google Wi-Fi name and it’ll cost $129 for each module that you can disperse around the house for reliable connectivity. It’s yet no clear the future of OnHub.

Chromecast Ultra

Google is also expected to unveil a new version of its Chromecast device, which will carry the Chromecast Ultra name with support for 4K and HDR video. The device will cost $69, which is a bit more expensive that previous versions, but it can do a lot more. Of course, it could be possible a few other surprises during the event.
