This feature isn’t available for the desktop, but there is a free app called “Lock Screen Reflection” that makes super simple to set your current Lock screen wallpaper from Windows Spotlight as your desktop wallpaper. In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to set your current Lock screen image as your desktop wallpaper on Windows 10.

How to use Lock Screen Reflection

Once you completed the steps, the current Lock screen background will set automatically as your desktop wallpaper. Lock Screen Reflection doesn’t run as a service, which means that you’ll need to run it every time you see a new image in the Lock screen. For the app to work remember that you’ll need to have Windows Spotlight configured on your computer on Settings > Personalization > Lock screen. You can also use the app to save a Windows Spotlight image to your computer and change the style type. For more information, remember to read the ReadMe.txt file included in the zip folder.
