At first the Kinect for Windows hardware and software package will be available in limited quantities with the suggested retail price of $249.99 (USD.). It will also be available in 12 different countries, it will include one-year warranty and software update, and for those educational users who qualify Kinect will cost $149.99. And yes, Kinect will have support for Windows 7 as well as for Windows 8 Developer Preview.
