While we’re ready to hear about the Surface Pro 4, the successor, the company seems not to be ready to unveil any details. Instead, the company is now adding a new model to the Surface Pro 3 range. Since launch, there have been five different models: the Intel Core i3 with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM ($799). Then there is the Core i5 with 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM ($999), the Intel Core i5 with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM ($1299), the Intel Core i7 with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM ($1549), and the Intel Core i7 featuring 512GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM ($1999). Now there is a new entry-level, high-end Intel Core i7 with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM with a price tag of $1299. This is the same price as the Core i5 model with the same storage capacity and RAM but a more powerful processor.
