A portion of the document was posted on Reddit (via Techradar) during the weekend, and it reads “New Microsoft Hardware Display and Type Cover set on Friday, 7/13.” Although the document doesn’t show much details, and it’s difficult to proof its authenticity, there’s a chance that might see the new low-cost Surface tablet on Friday. The Surface tablet it’s said to be a 10-inch device with significant new design that uses rounded corners similar to the iPad, and it’s expected to have a price tag of $400. In addition, this device is likely to include a USB-C port for connectivity and charging, 20 percent lighter than the current Surface Pro, and a battery life of 9.5-hours. The rumor has it that smaller Surface will come in two models featuring a 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, both models will include the choice for LTE connectivity and the icon kickstand and powered by Intel processors instead of Qualcomm ARM chips. Update July 9, 2018: According to a new mysterious Tweet from the official Surface account suggests that we could be hearing more details about the new device as early as July 10.
