However, throughout the many technical sessions, the company continued to unveiled little pieces of what’s to come in the next update of the operating system. In a new technical session titled “Notification Futures: Action Center in the Cloud and the Windows Notification Platform”, the company showed off the new improvements coming to the Action Center and toast notifications later this summer with the new update for Windows 10. The video from Microsoft published on Channel9, which you can watch below, shows off the new Action Center changes in the user-interface and the new elements developers can use to provider richer information to the end-user with the new Cards concept. The demo also demonstrates how “Notification Mirroring” works to sync user’s notifications using the cloud, and the new “Universal Dismiss” feature, which allows users to dismiss a notification on their phone, while propagating the same action across devices.

While Microsoft is aiming to roll out these new features and UI changes with the next major update of Windows 10, it’s still unclear when Insiders will be able to get their hands on the new improvements for testing and send feedback.
