The Microsoft Whiteboard as the name implies, it’s an unlimited digital canvas that allows users to create and collaborate using digital ink in person and remotely, and across devices. Using this app, you can ink on images, create mockups, and use notes in the digital canvas. The app is free and anyone can download it on a Windows 10 PC, but in order to collaborate with other people at least one person in the group must be signed in using an active Office 365 subscription. The Whiteboard app features touch and pen capabilities, digital ink to collaborate with multiple people with tools like finger inking, several pen styles, ruler, stick notes, web image searching, and more. According to Microsoft the app can even recognize your drawing, which can then be transformed into regular shapes whether you’re creating tables, diagrams, and flowcharts.

The new Microsoft Whiteboard app is perfect to brainstorm ideas, online meetings to work with clients on product designs, create engineering plans, and basically anything else you can think. Microsoft is making available the app as preview to the English version of Windows 10 running on touch-enabled devices, but it’s expected to be available for other languages in the coming months.
