The software giant announced new services like Microsoft Teams with new tools for the classroom, new features for Minecraft, and mixed reality for education. And Microsoft also unveiled its newest member of the Surface family, the Surface Laptop. After the presentation that included speakers, such as Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella; Terry Myerson, EVP of the Windows & Devices Group; and Panos Panay, CVP of Devices, Microsoft had set up a big room with demos that allowed attendees to get hands-on with all the new products and services. Attendees had the chance to get hands-on with new devices from partners running Windows 10 S, including Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Samsung, and Toshiba. Of course, a demo station was dedicated to the new Surface Laptop, which perhaps was the device that stole the show. Additionally, there were demo stations showcasing Office 365 for education, including Microsoft Teams with new features for the classroom. And a Microsoft Intune station was also present to show just how easy is for administrators to connect and manage Windows 10 S devices on a school network, and a lot more.
