Google Analytics version 5 has a totally redesigned user interface, brings faster performance and a bunch of new features. Now users can create multiple custom dashboards to be more centric on important metrics; up to 20 and each can contain up to 12 widgets. Users can also set an Event Goal to track interactions like files download or videos views, graph and compare metrics over the course of time with Plot Rows, and flip between multiple profiles and sites to stay focused on one report. Here is a video showing Plot Rows in action:

Google has made available Google Analytics version 5, but for right now the only way to get to the latest version is by switching between the old and new with the New Version link located in the top-right corner of your Analytics account. Google is also asking to users to submit feedbacks if they come across issues and also get reading because more features are coming in the future.

Soon to arrive are the features like exporting reports to PDF file format, linking a new AdWords or Adsense account, emailing reports, migrating a custom report from the old version to the new version of Analytics and In-Page Analytics.
