The firmware update was released on November 13, and it’s available for the locked version of the device running in the AT&T network. Also, on October 14, the company rolled out another firmware update with several improvements, but only for the unlocked versions of the Surface Duo.

These are the improvements available for the Surface Duo in November 2020:

Fixes the Android Security Bulletin – October 2020. Call stability and experience improvements. Touch stability improvements. Facebook Messenger single screen experience improvements. Device stability improvements.

The same changes in the above list are available for the unlocked version of the Duo with the firmware update that Microsoft released on October 14. The update should download and install automatically, but if you have not received it, then you can get it from the Android update settings page.
