As for ports, the device includes two USB-C, a Surface connector for charging and data transfer, an expandable storage slot, and a nano-SIM slot to connect the device to an LTE service. Alongside the new processor and color options, the company is also unveiling new signature keyboards that will come in red, blue, and silver with a compartment to store the Surface Slim Pen. The company is also touting improvements on the ARM version of Microsoft Edge that makes the browser faster, and there’s a new version of Microsoft Teams that has been designed to run on the ARM-based processor. Furthermore, Microsoft says that it is expanding support for running x64 apps with x64 emulation, which is expected to release later in 2020.
