Leaked screenshots from an early version of Windows 10 for small devices show many similarities to the mobile operating system, which means no desktop environment for devices under 8-inches and it only runs Windows apps — no desktop programs. A new Patch Tuesday released this week fixing 26 vulnerabilities in Windows, Internet Explorer, Office and various other products. Microsoft says that is building a new “Energy-saving” option on Xbox One to help reduce power consumption after critics. In the coming months, new Xbox One owners will be prompted to choose between the “Instant-on” or “Energy-saving” modes during the initial setup.
