This latest release of the most popular content management system software brings a fix for a vulnerability that allowed Contributor-level users to improperly publish posts; issue discovered by one of the members of WordPress security team. If you are running a Website that allows users to register as contributors or if you have users that you don’t trust too much, it is recommended to update as soon as possible. For everyone else it is not recommended to say to skip an update, but get the update as soon you get the chance, because there are also a few bug fixes that were not included in version 3.1.1.
