Time is running out, as such you must upgrade your qualifying computer now. According to Microsoft announcement, Windows 10 has the “highest customer satisfaction of any version”. “The free upgrade offer to Windows 10 was a first for Microsoft, helping people upgrade faster than ever before.” While many people might have thought Microsoft will keep Windows 10 as a free upgrade, today we know that it won’t be the case as after July 29th, you will have to pay $119 for the full version of Windows 10 Home. Of course, the operating system will still come pre-loaded in new machines at no extra cost. If you’re still doubtful, consider that the operating system has the highest rate adoption and customer satisfaction of any version of Windows ever. Windows 10 is more secure than Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. It even ships with a free antivirus that can easily compete head-to-head with all security software in the market. The operating system also doesn’t have a learning curve like the case of Windows 8.x with a user interface that was hard to navigate, and it offers better backward compatibility for apps. More and more apps are pouring into the Windows Store. Slowly but surely, Microsoft is getting big name apps. Now you can download official Windows 10 apps for Twitter, Vine, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Flipboard, Wunderlist, Dropbox, Box, Netflix, VLC, Hulu, Fitbit, Pandora, AMC, Roku, and the list goes on and on. Of course, this is in addition to the Microsoft Office apps, and all the built-in apps, such as Weather, News, Groove, Maps, and others. Windows 10 also includes Cortana, your personal digital assistant that lives in the taskbar to help you with everyday tasks and even keep from missing any important meeting. In addition, Cortana is not tight to Windows 10, you can get the assistant on Android and iOS too. You also get Continuum mode that makes Windows 10 a touch-friendly operating system for 2-in-1 devices — including phones. Another reason to consider is the free upgrades. Starting Windows 10 and moving forward major upgrades are always free. Microsoft is already gearing up to release the Anniversary Update this summer that will bring even more improvements and features. As you can see there are a lot of good reasons to upgrade to Windows 10.
