Instead, it’s said that the company will delivery only one major release of the regular desktop version of Windows 10 per year, during the fall, and one update for Windows 10X during the spring. Also, the company is reportedly reworking the focus of Windows 10X to make it a web-first experience for low-cost devices and compete with Google’s Chromebooks. Windows Terminal version 1.2 released this week with a bunch of improvements, including focus mode, always on top mode, and new key binding commands. Microsoft quietly stopped selling the 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription indicating that the company could be in the phase of retiring or reworking the experience, as the Xbox Series X is expected to launch later this year, and it’ll focus on the Xbox Game Pass subscription. The software giant is reportedly planning to launch a virtualize experience of Windows 10 using its Azure cloud with a new service known as “Cloud PC.” Surface Laptop 2 and Surface Laptop (first-gen) picked up new firmware update in July. Windows Package Manager update releases with some improvements. Also, Mozilla VPN service is now available in six different countries as a $5 per month service.
