Build 10041 is a very fresh version of the operating system, according to the software maker the build was compiled last Friday. The new Windows 10 Technical Preview brings a few new features and a lot of bug fixes, though because we’re getting a fast release of the OS, we’ll see more bugs and fewer workarounds. As for features, Windows 10 build 10041 includes an improved Start menu with transparency, Microsoft made the All Apps list easier to use with touch. Now, you can drag & drop apps from the All Apps list to the most used apps list, and more. Microsoft has tweaked the Task View (virtual desktops), Windows 10 now supports filtered taskbar, which means that only the taskbar will show apps running on that specific desktop. Cortana now works for the version of Windows 10 in China, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain, and there is a new network fly-out menu on the taskbar. There are new enhancements on the Photo app, new text input canvas, a new lock screen experience, improvements to the Windows Insider Program, new installation UI and a lot more.
