The screenshots from the build 9901 do not show any new changes in the Start menu, but it does show that Cortana is taking shape in the latest leaked version of Windows 10. In the screenshot below, you can see a normal search query done in the new search box that brings results from the web and apps. And at the top you can see the unmistakable Cortana button at the center with a home button at the top-left.

SEE ALSO: This is Cortana running on the Windows 10 desktop (video) Windows 10 build 9901 also shows a new Settings app, which has changed dramatically since build 9888. Although, the Settings app is not in its final appearance, we can see that is changing to look similar to the Control Panel we see today in Windows 7 and Windows 8.

You’ll also notice that Microsoft has change the minimize, maximize, and close buttons for universal apps to look more modern. The Windows Store seems to be getting a new look as well. Users will now get a new Store design with dark colors that looks more like a classic application, rather than modern.

Like build 9888, which has leaked on torrent and file sharing sites, Windows 10 build 9901, is not meant for the public. It’s buggy and it’s not supported by Microsoft outside of the company. As such, you should not download the build 9901 ISO from untrusted sources. Install at your own risk.
