According to the company, this is the second feature experience pack, and it is a small update that only includes reliability improvements from the handwriting input panel. The Windows Feature Experience Pack is a new update process that allows Microsoft to push out feature improvements outside of the operating system’s major releases. The package will download and install automatically through Windows Update, similar to installing a new build or cumulative update. Although using this new mechanism, a lot of features can receive updates, only a subset of features is being developed independently. Microsoft is at the beginning of this new update process with testers, but eventually, the new mechanism will be integrated into the existing servicing process for Windows 10. If you want to receive the pack, you need to be enrolled in the Beta Channel using the Windows Insider Program settings. Then on Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, click the Check for Updates button to install the latest pack. Once the update is installed, you will need to restart the device, and then you can check the Windows Feature Experience Pack version on Settings > System > About.
