Starting on Tuesday, August 16, users with an unlocked version of a Windows phone, such as Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, can download Windows 10 Mobile build 14393.67, which is the final release. If you’ve previously enrolled your phone to the Windows Insider Program, and you have selected the Fast ring, you’re likely already running final version (build 14393.67) and there nothing else you need to do. In the case your Windows phone is locked, you’ll have to wait until your carrier decides to push the update over-the-air.

What’s new on Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update

Windows 10 is the same operating system across devices, which means that the Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile shares the same core and most of the same features and improvements found on the PC version of the operating system. However, there are a few improvements and features specific to smartphones, such as improvements on Continuum, Cortana available in more languages, including in Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil) and French (Canada).
