Among the new changes, build 14371 includes some minor tweaks on Cortana, Continuum, Action Center, and Settings app. There are also improvements streaming FLAC music files stored on OneDrive using Groove Music. The music app also includes a fix to prevent the playback of an entire playlist, instead of playing one song after a crash. This flight should also fix the freeze problem when switching cellular data off when there isn’t an internet connection available. In addition, build 14371 fixes an issue that caused un-pairing of certain Bluetooth devices during specific scenarios.

Known issues for build 14371

Alongside the new changes, Microsoft is also listing a few known issues with this flight. On Windows 10 Mobile build 14371, Microsoft is testing a new backup format for mobile devices that reduces the size stored on OneDrive. As such, if you do a backup with the latest update, and back to the production release, then the Start layout won’t be preserved. On older devices like on the Lumia 830, 930, and 1520 there is a battery drain issue, and there are a few Wi-Fi disconnect problems that Microsoft is currently investigating. Windows 10 Mobile build 14371 is available immediately through the Fast ring of updates. It’ll download and install automatically on your PC and Windows 10 Mobile handsets, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button. As you probably noticed, Microsoft didn’t release Windows 10 build 14371 for PC. However, the company says that we’ll hear soon about a new PC build. In addition, build 14367, which originally rolled out on June 17th, is now available through the Slow ring. Microsoft is listing the complete list of fixes and known issue for build 14371 at the Windows Blog. Have something else to add to the story? Tell us in the comments below.
