According to the official changelogs, Windows 11 build 22616 brings the internet and Microsoft account requirements for the Pro edition while setting an installation for the first time. If you choose to set up a device for Work or School, there is no change, and it will work the same way as before. Microsoft is reverting some changes for the system tray available in previous builds. For example, the “Show hidden icons” flyout will now function the same way it did with the original release of Windows 11, including the ability to rearrange icons in the flyout. Also, this flight introduces several fixes for the Taskbar, input, Widgets, Settings, Task Manager, and more. Since build 22616 is an almost finalized version of Windows 11 22H2, Microsoft is now recommending Insiders switch their devices from the Dev to the Beta Channel to prevent installing builds for the next version of Windows. If you want to switch channels without reinstallation, open Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program, select the “Choose your Insider builds” setting and choose the “Beta Channel” option.
