Starting Feb. 1st, prices will change, Windows 8 edition will be available online and at retail for $119.99, while Windows 8 Pro will be also available for download and at retails stores for $199.99. For anyone in Win 8 edition wanting to upgrade to the Pro version will have to purchase the “Windows 8 Pro Pack” which will cost $99.99. And for Windows 8 Pro users wanting to get Media Center will need to get the “Windows 8 Media Center Pack” for $9.99. In the case you recently bought a new PC with Windows 7 between June 2nd and January 31st 2013, you should register for the Windows Upgrade Offer and get the Pro version of Windows for $14.99. In the same way if upgraded or your PC came with only core edition, you can upgrade to the Pro version using the “Add Features to Windows” and purchasing the Pro Pack for $69.99.
