The new update was released on Sunday, June 28th, and includes a new interactive weather map that is continuously updated. It provides access to visual information on precipitation, temperature, cloud cover, satellite, and radar for different regions, including North America, Asia, Africa and, Europe.

Every map is colorful, interactive and its information changes constantly, but you don’t have much control, you can only pause or play the clip for the current forecast.

Also the Windows 8 Weather app update brings a new section called ski resorts and it offers more information about snow forecasts for 31 countries around the world. The latest app update that Microsoft has released isn’t much, but it brings some welcome improvements and UI tweaks, such as bigger images in the daily forecast when you open the app, something similar that you’ll find in other updated apps like Sports, News, Travel, Maps, and the Finance app. Source Windows Store via Bing blog All content on this site is provided with no warranties, express or implied.
