The company seems to be getting ready to start clearing up inventory, as the price of the base model of Xbox One featuring a 500GB is getting its price reduced to $299. In addition, the Xbox One with Kinect is available for $349, and the Xbox One sporting a 1TB hard drive is now $319. The new price reduction shouldn’t come as a surprise, as the offer ends on June 13th, which happens to align with the E3 press conference, where Microsoft is expected to launch the new slim Xbox One console, which it’s said that it will be around 40 percent smaller than the current model and cheaper, too. While it may seem a temporary price cut, with new hardware on the horizon, we could well be seeing the new permanent pricing for the original version of the console. Alongside the launch of the smaller console, the company is also expected to introduce two new streaming devices. According to previous rumors, Microsoft could be launching a Chromecast-like dongle size to stream Xbox One content to other TVs around the house, and more powerful device, more like a mini PC to run basic games, Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps, and stream games from the Xbox One console.
