Today, in response to the problem, Xbox’s Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) has announced that he has worked with the Xbox Support team and they have now enabled an option for Xbox One owners to be able to purchase additional Xbox One power supply units through https://myservice.xbox.com. Here’s his statement: Now here is the deal according to the terms and conditions you must register the console before you can get a new power supply unit. Furthermore, if you have received a faulty power brick you can get a free replacement as long as your Xbox One is still under warranty. If the console isn’t under warranty, you’ll be able to purchase a new unit right from the support service center, which it’s still very convenient as you don’t have to be hunting down third-party vendors that can turn out to be a nightmare. I have not had a chance to check it out myself yet – but the team just emailed me to let me know they have added that option to the online tool. Thanks!
