Naturally, media outlets quickly began publishing articles detailing the new information. The only problem was that AMD bought the mockups from a third-party company, and they not represent the actual ports shipping with the Series X console. Now, according to internal sources at Microsoft have confirmed to that the Xbox Series X console will actually sport:

2 USB SuperSpeed Type-A ports. 1 HDMI port. Ethernet port. Optical audio. Power port.

Unfortunately, it would appear that the new Xbox will not include a USB Type-C as shown in the fake render. The back of the next generation of the console also includes an air intake vents. In addition, the report claims that there could also be an additional port for debugging.   As per usual, this information can always change, so we’ll have to wait until the launch date to see the port line up of console.
